Set auto hide per-application in addition to per group, and save the settings
when restarting application autohide is automatically turned on again.
Now we have to turn on autohide by hand again when we start an application.
I'm not entirely sure if this is the same as the OP suggestion ~
For my most common uses of WindowTabs I prefer to have the tabs always visible. I frequently close/open programs with tabs, and I must always right-click and deselect the "Auto hide maximized" mode each time.
It really should configurable in the general options menu. At the very least, allow a setting to toggle whether auto hide is the default mode for all new tabs. Ideally, it could be on a per-application basis as the OP suggests.
I'd really like to see this change. Very annoying to have to toggle this option every time you open the application.
Yes I have the problem that autohide keeps on afer restarting application.
Button in program list would be perfect.
Sounds like a great idea!
It would improve usability of WindowTabs considerably!
Thanks for taking this option aboard.
I think a good first step would be to make have an option to turn it on based on the application, we could be a check box in the "Programs" list
I would like more options for this, since some groups need it and some don't, depending on the interface structure. Most windows 7 and windows 8 apps don't have much of a problem displaying the tabs but some older apps have menu's very close to the edge of the screen and then you need autohide to be able to reach some menu options. I would like to have auto hide switched on per group or tab, if possible.
Would it be enough to have an option (which is saved) to make autohide on by default for all groups?
